It’s starting to get cold and dark outside. If you aren’t careful, your mood may shift to teflect the gloomy weather.

My mood is also significantly impacted by my surroundings so I have to make an effort to stay uplifted during this time of the year.

When I can’t get away to a warm and sunnier climate, I make tweaks to my wardrobe and environment to give me a boost.

Shun the idea that winter is the time for black and grey. Break the arbitrary no white after labor day rule. Don’t blend in with the gray skies but stand out bright and vibrantly.

Because even if it’s jet black outside by 4 p.m., you can create your own light.
